Adele Will Be Having Throat Surgery

Adele Will Be Having Throat Surgery sometime soon. The songstress has already canceled the remainder of concerts due to her vocal cord issues. The statement was just released today that she will have an operation “to alleviate the current issues with her throat” and she must “completely recuperate before looking to schedule any more work commitments.” Earlier this month the songstress had to announce that a hemorrhage in her vocal cord is the reason to why she had to cancel her 10 city U.S tour and that she was greatly disappointed in this.

The young British singer expressed her sadness through her website writing, “Singing is literally my life, it’s my hobby, my love, my freedom and now my job. I have absolutely no choice but to recuperate properly and fully, or I risk damaging my voice forever. I have great confidence in believing you know how much this upsets me, how seriously I take it and how truly devastated and annoyed I am by this. Wanting to do something so bad and not being able to is the most frustrating thing as I’m sure you know!”

She continued on, “My voice is weak and I need to build it back up. I’m gonna be starting up vocal rehab [soon] and start building my over all stamina in my voice, body and mind. I will be back and I’m gonna smash the ball out the park once I’m touring again. I apologize from the bottom of my heart, sincerely I do. I know it’s not only disappointing because of the show, but it’s plane tickets, hotel bookings, birthdays, anniversaries and time wasted. But please have faith in me that this is the only thing I can do to make sure I can always sing and always make music for you to the best of my ability. Truly yours and yours only forever, Adele xx”

At this moment no makeup dates have been announced, but are assumed to be rescheduled sometime early next year to give Adele time to heal properly.

Another singer who recently went under the knife to fix his vocal cord as well was John Mayer. Read about John Mayer Throat Surgery, and it is said to have gone quiet well.
