In 2006, she was cast as Christine Campbell in the sitcom The New Adventures of Old Christine, which lasted for five seasons on CBS. Throughout her career she has received two Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe Award and five Screen Actors Guild Awards. Louis-Dreyfus was born January 13, 1961 in the Manhattan borough of New York City.
